Every MONARKE watch is assembled here in Scotland by us.
We don’t outsource assembly or pull finished watches from a warehouse. When someone places an order, we sit down and assemble that watch by hand — fitting the dial, setting the hands, casing the movement, and checking everything carefully before it’s packed.
Because we’re small, we’re involved in every step. If something isn’t right, we fix it. If it needs adjusting, we adjust it. That hands-on approach is important to us, and it’s part of what makes MONARKE what it is.
When you wear one of our watches, it hasn’t come off a production line. It’s been assembled with care, by real people, right here in Scotland.
Every MNRK-2 is assembled specifically for you.
As a small independent studio, we don’t hold large volumes of finished stock. Instead, each watch is carefully assembled when an order is placed. This allows us to give every piece the time and attention it deserves — from movement installation and hand alignment to final inspection and quality checks.
Because of this process, delivery times may be longer than mass-produced brands. But it also means your watch hasn’t been sitting on a shelf — it has been assembled with care, purpose, and focus.
Building to order helps us maintain higher quality control, reduce unnecessary waste, and continue operating sustainably as a growing independent brand. It’s a slower process and we hope that care is something you can feel on the wrist.
At MONARKE Studio, we believe the focus should always be on the watch itself. That’s why we keep our packaging simple, purposeful, and free from unnecessary excess. By choosing clean, minimal boxes instead of elaborate presentation cases, we’re able to keep the cost of our watches accessible without compromising on quality where it truly matters. All of our packaging is biodegradable, reflecting our commitment to thoughtful design not just in our watches, but in how we deliver them. Less waste, less cost, more intention.
